Occupational Therapy is the treatment of physical and developmental issues that interrupt the normal management of everyday activities. Pediatric Occupational Therapy targets skills that are needed for coordination, performance, and school readiness.
Our Occupational Therapists (OT’s) are trained to assist children with their individual physical and developmental issues. OT’s will work with your child teaching them how to manage their everyday activities on their own. Teaching them self help activities like feeding, dressing, grooming while also working with them on focus and attention, play and social interaction, hand-eye coordination, calming, regulatory behaviors and more.
Our Occupational Therapists’ goal is to guide your child in developing the skills necessary to become a functional and independent adult.
The following Diagnosis/Disorders will commonly benefit from Occupational Therapy Services:
- Fine Motor Coordination
- Equipment Training
- Social Interaction
